What Sioly sends

All 46 of them, by name. Grouped exactly like the five switches in the app, so you can see what each one turns off — plus the one event that sits with the main switch instead.

What is never sent

This is the part most people come here for, so it goes first.

  • The contents of your routines, tasks and notes. Sioly counts them and records that something happened — never what it says. A task called “Call the oncologist” is one task, nothing more.
  • Your health data. Steps, sleep and workouts stay on your device and in Apple Health. Not one of the 46 events below carries a value from there.
  • Anything you type into the AI coach. When a generation fails, the error type is sent — “timeout”, “network” — never the conversation.
  • Your name, email address or password. Signing in sends the method (Apple, Google, email) and whether it worked.
  • Card numbers and amounts. A completed purchase sends which plan, nothing from the payment itself — Sioly never sees your card in the first place.

Where the app gets stuck

Failed AI generations, timeouts and sync errors. This is the group that helps you most — without it, a spot where the app hangs stays undiscovered.

ai_question_shown
An onboarding question appeared. Sends the question number, not the question.
ai_question_answered
You answered one. Sends that it was answered and how long it took — never the answer.
ai_generation_started
Sioly began building your routine.
ai_generation_succeeded
It finished. Sends how many seconds it took.
ai_generation_failed
It did not finish. Sends the error type, e.g. “timeout” or “network”.
ai_generation_aborted
You left while it was still running.
loading_timed_out
A loading screen stood longer than it should. Sends which screen.
ai_error
The AI coach hit an error. Sends the error type, never the conversation.
sync_error
Syncing your data failed. Sends the error type, never the data.

Always on while analytics is on

This one is not behind any of the five switches — it sits with the main one. Without it, none of the other numbers can be read: how many routines were created means nothing without how many times the app was opened. It carries no content of any kind.

app_opened
First open of a calendar day. Sends the days since your first open and the memory in use.

1 event · no switch of its own

Who receives this

Google Ireland Limited processes these events for us through Firebase Analytics, and data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States under the EU standard contractual clauses. The legal basis is your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — which is why the app asks before sending anything, and why you can withdraw it at any time.

  • No advertising. Sioly runs no ads and shares nothing with ad networks, data brokers or partners. The twelve “advertising purposes” you may have seen in other apps do not exist here, so they are not listed.
  • No profiles for third parties. The events are read as counts and funnels, to see where the app breaks and where people give up.
  • Crash reports run separately. They have their own switch in Settings and are on by default, so a crash can be fixed. They carry the technical error and the last steps before it — never your content.

How to turn it off

Each of the five groups above has its own switch, and every switch is a real gate: what you turn off is not sent, and not stored for later either.

  1. Open Sioly and go to Profile.
  2. Under Support & Legal, tap Manage personalization preferences.
  3. Turn Usage analytics off to stop all five at once — or leave it on and switch off only the groups you do not want.

Turning a group back on does not send anything from the past. Events are sent as they happen or not at all; nothing is queued up while a switch is off. The one event under “Always on” above follows the main switch: turn that off and it stops too.
